Welding Apprentice
Terms of Employment:
- Permanent, Full time.
- $20 -$25 per hour
- Full benefits after 3 months
Skill Requirements:
- PRIDE IN YOUR WORK
- Grade 12 diploma an asset, but not required
- 1st period Apprentice, 2nd period Apprentice
- Must speak English
Additional Skills:
Must be organized, independent, driven to finish projects and meet deadlines. Willing to prep and run chop saw, band saw, drills etc. Take part in shop changes, moving and handling of equipment. Minor shop and yard construction
Experience:
- Basic welding (all positions)
- Basic fitting
- Fab experience
- Wire feed experience an asset
- Will train
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
This is a fast paced environment. You must be able to follow directions and maintain a tidy work area, lift up to 40 lbs or more, possess manual dexterity, eye hand coordination, and be able to bend and operate in various orientations.
