History

JD Piling & Anchor has deep roots in Fort St John and the Peace River country.

Starting as a family run business in 1986 while he was still in school, Jason bought his first vehicle, a crew truck and together with his father, Dwight, started what would become JD Piling & Anchor Ltd. Over the years JD Piling & Anchor Ltd. has achieved many landmark milestones including:

From small beginnings to world class technology and facilities today, JD Piling & Anchor is one of Western Canada’s leading Construction and Oil & Gas service companies, ready to be of service where ever they are needed.

■	One of the first radio controlled picker and leads piling units in BC.
■	Creating some of the most innovative equipment in the industry including a new line of truck and track mounted combination piling/drilling equipment.
■	Developing and owning many patents for equipment and processes specific to some of the most difficult aspects of pile driving.

■	Piling work on a six lane overpass in Fort McMurray (with an innovative approach which helped avoid impeding or stopping traffic on the highway)
■	The new Regional hospital in Fort St John.
■	Foundation construction for the new Nitrogen Facility in Dawson Creek.
